The last hooray (33 months)

We are welcoming baby Kermit into our family tomorrow! So, this week, Jack got to enjoy some of his favorite activities. Today was all Jack's picks: making & eating pumpkin muffins, swimming at the "cool pool" (Palo Alto JCC with slides etc.), grilled cheese lunch at Dinah's, crepes dinner with G&G, N&P, and Aunt Emily at Ti Couz (including his own dessert crepe with chocolate sauce and ice cream) and seeing "the whole city in lights".

Oakland outing (32 months)

We kicked off Halloween season showing off our family In-n-Out costumes at the Oakland Zoo (rides only!) and Dunsmuir October Festival.

Pumpkin Time (32 months)

Jack had a great time choosing pumpkins at Clancy's Pumpkin Patch with his friend Alex.

I don't want to go to Portland (31 months)

As you can see, Jack had a terrible time! On the plane home, he said, "I don't want to go home....I want to stay at Clara's and Portland." Jack & Clara have spent a lot of time playing together since the day they were born. Unfortunately, they moved to Portland last summer and this visit was the 1st time the 2 had seen each other since then. It was like no time had passed & I am convinced they rembered each other! BTW, Jack ALWAYS says he doesn't want to go somewhere & after about 10 minutes, doesn't want to leave!

Beach Days (29 months)

We have actually been lucky to have true summer weather in SF this year! So, Jack has been spending a lot of time outdoors & at the beaches.

The Last Supper (38 Weeks)

Amy and her girls went to hot-spot Nopa (north of pan-handle) for dinner to celebrate her last weeks of freedom. I heard it was fantastic--Jack made out like a bandit, scoring some very stylin' outfits. Clockwise from the front left: Rachel, Emily, Amy, Molly, Kim, Jen, Melissa, Ella, and Amanda.

Full Term (37 Weeks)

Happy New Year! Amy is a full-term now, so the baby could come any time. It's exciting to think that he's arriving this month!

Beach Ball (36 Weeks)

Today we went for a walk to the mystery bookstore in Noe Valley. It's been around since 1974, just like me. I think this photo is great--Amy pretty much looks like she is smuggling a beach ball!

I also couldn't resist buying a baby pop-over for our baby bjorn (used of course). It is kind of like a snowsuit made of fleece, but it has a big elastic hole on the back, so it just pulls 'around' the baby.

Golf with Lyle yesterday was fantastic. We walked 27 holes in 60 degree sunshine. Meanwhile, Amy is now officially on maternity leave.

Okay, this was awhile ago, but here's a picture of Amy at 24 weeks getting her shopping on in West Portal. We were visiting Q and Michelle and the yet-to-be-born baby Zoe.

Fireworks Night (20 Weeks)

We went to Oakland for Fireworks Night. The A's won and after the game we lay down in the infield to watch the pyrotechnics. They did a tribute to Motown.
