One Month of Jack (30 Days Old)

Hooray! Jack is one month old. He was sitting still for awhile, so we took a whole bunch of portraits. These are our two favorite: looking serious, and showing off his dance moves. Click for more from this photo-shoot.

On the Towne (24 Days Old)

Jack and Mom are really doing great. Over the last couple days, Jack has been hitting the town (he's pretty into 24th Street, but no so fond of the South Van Ness post office). Look, he actually got to wear outfits that weren't pajamas!

All in the Family (16 Days Old)

Jack's now met both sets of his grandparents, Grandpa Jeff and Grandma Lynda and Grandpa Jerry and Grandma Sally. Yesterday, he met his uncle Matt and tia Maria, too!

Jack weighs 10 lbs 2 oz. Here's a great photo of him doing his favorite thing, sleeping (and apparently, he's into stripes).

Jack's First Date (10 Days Old)

I added a new section to the blog called "Photo Albums" where I will be uploading slideshows (look to the right).

Jack's friend Clara came by to hang out on super-bowl Sunday, with her parents Molly & Scott. Neither of them seemed to be too interested in each other this time.

Amy and I were so tired, we slept through about half of the game--I never thought that could happen.

Handsome Jack (8 Days Old)

It's hard to believe that Jack is only eight days old, and it's amazing to watch the tiny little progressions in his development as a little man. He's pretty good at holding his head up, and he's always looking around.

Jack's Great Grandma Grace came by today around lunchtime. It was really special to see them together.

Jack's Big Day (6 Days Old)

Today, Jack had a big day out in the real world. We started with his first bath. He seemed to enjoy it, actually. Here's his "its no big deal" face. After the bath, we headed out to his pediatrician, stopping by the lab to get his Bilirubins checked. Bilirubin count is used to measure jaundice. Actually, I just like saying Bilirubin.


Here's a photo of Jack in his nascar gear. The pediatrician said that Jack was doing great. He's up to 9 lbs already! And, of course, he loves mommy!

Jack Heads Home (4 Days Old)

BABY JACK!

Jack Owen Flanzer was born Thursday, January 25, 2007 at 3:56 PM at Kaiser Hospital in San Francisco. He weighed in at 8 lbs 11 oz, and a lengthy 21 inches. We couldn't be happier to have Jack in our lives!
