Jack's Big Day (6 Days Old)

Today, Jack had a big day out in the real world. We started with his first bath. He seemed to enjoy it, actually. Here's his "its no big deal" face. After the bath, we headed out to his pediatrician, stopping by the lab to get his Bilirubins checked. Bilirubin count is used to measure jaundice. Actually, I just like saying Bilirubin.

Here's a photo of Jack in his nascar gear. The pediatrician said that Jack was doing great. He's up to 9 lbs already! And, of course, he loves mommy!

Sitting Pretty (39 Weeks)

I asked Amy to sit for some portraits this weekend. It was a good excuse to refamiliarize myself with my camera so that I'm ready to capture all the great moments.
My parents were in town for work, so we got to spend some quality family time together. Most of it was spent inside, because it was freezing outside (well, freezing for San Francisco.. it was probably 40F).

The Last Supper (38 Weeks)

Amy and her girls went to hot-spot Nopa (north of pan-handle) for dinner to celebrate her last weeks of freedom. I heard it was fantastic--Jack made out like a bandit, scoring some very stylin' outfits. Clockwise from the front left: Rachel, Emily, Amy, Molly, Kim, Jen, Melissa, Ella, and Amanda.

Happy New Year! Amy is a full-term now, so the baby could come any time. It's exciting to think that he's arriving this month!
