In L.A., Lesh and I cruised around looking for diners that could be used as interiors. After two long days and many miles in traffic, we found 3 of interest.

Tiny Island at Hoover & Wilshire Blvd.

Omelets N'Things on North Topanga Cyn. Blvd. They close at 2 PM each day and seemed receptive to a student film.

The diner in the Farmer's Market (I forget the name; not Johnny Rocket's) at 3rd & Fairfax. They close at 10 PM and were also pretty receptive.
